Growing up in a predominately white area of the West Midlands, it was hard for me to really appreciate my cultural heritage and take pride in being different, particularly through my time in high school. However, over the years I've learned to truly appreciate what it means to be a part of Indian culture, and that I don't need to change who I am to fit in. There are certain attributes that equate with being Indian and I've learned to embrace and admire them.

'My Culture' is a uni video response to the brief of Cultural Identity. I wanted to showcase the beauty within Indian culture and exhibit the pride I have in being Indian.
